CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

Orin really hadn’t been angling for sex when he offered Sahira his blood. He’d prefer she didn’t go onto that field of fire and death hungry and exhausted.

She should be at full strength to face whatever lay ahead of them; he intended to ensure she was. Altruism worked better than he could have imagined to excite women, but he’d never tried it before.

With nimble fingers, she undid the rope, and his pants slid down his thighs. Breaking the kiss, her eyes held his before she knelt before him.

He’d vowed the next time they did this, it would be in a bed, or at least somewhere far more comfortable than their previous encounters, but he wasn’t about to stop her. Though the rock had to be biting into her flesh, she didn’t show any signs of discomfort as, while holding his gaze, she clasped his cock and ran her tongue around the head of it.

His breath sucked in, and his head almost tipped back from the glorious sensation of her mouth working over him, but he couldn’t take his eyes off her as she drew him deeper. They’d done many things together, but she’d yet to suck his dick; it was far better than he’d imagined.

As she worked him with her lips and hands, he clasped the back of her head and guided her. The fangs she couldn’t fully retract grazed his shaft.

He wanted her to bite again. “Feed from me.”

When her fangs retracted and she started moving over him again, he’d had enough of the waiting. Bending, he placed his hands under her arms and lifted her.

She licked his blood from her lips as he undid the string holding her pants in place and watched them pool around her feet. Beneath the first pair was a second, and he untied them as she kicked off her boots.

As their clothes fell away, she stepped into him, but he grasped her waist and turned her around. Bringing her down, he positioned himself behind her as her hands and knees settled on the ground.

He ran his hand over the exquisite curve of her back, tracing her spine and relishing the feel of her silken skin.
